Dave Harvey is a senior aviation and travel-technology executive with more than 25 years of experience leading commercial strategy, sales, partnerships, and large-scale transformation across the global travel ecosystem.

He is the Founder and Principal of Harvey Global Advisory, where he advises airlines, travel-technology providers, hospitality companies, and enterprise clients on commercial strategy, sales effectiveness, distribution and payments, and AI-enabled digital transformation. His work focuses on helping organizations drive sustainable growth, modernize go-to-market models, and align strategy, culture, and technology.

Dave also serves as a Senior Advisor to American Airlines, supporting strategic initiatives across B2B sales, SMB engagement, and commercial strategy.

Previously, Dave served as Chief Commercial Officer at Wheels Up, where he led end-to-end commercial strategy including pricing, revenue management, sales, brand, marketing, product, and customer experience. He also led the complex integration of Wheels Up, Delta Air Lines, and Air Partner—creating a first-of-its-kind seamless travel solution spanning private and commercial aviation.

Before Wheels Up, Dave spent 25 years at Southwest Airlines, progressing through leadership roles in Technology, Corporate Strategy, Network Planning, and Business Development before serving as Chief Sales Officer, leading the Southwest Business unit. Career highlights include integrating AirTran Airways, expanding Dallas Love Field routes following the Wright Amendment repeal, launching international and Hawaii service, and transforming commercial go-to-market strategy across the airline.

Today, Dave serves on multiple boards and advisory councils. He is a Board Director at Qentelli, a global digital transformation and AI engineering firm helping enterprises accelerate intelligent automation and software innovation.

Recognized four times by Business Travel News as one of the 25 Most Influential People in Business Travel (2019, 2020, 2021, 2023), Dave is known for his ability to connect vision to execution and deliver results in complex, highly regulated environments.

He holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin and dual master’s degrees—an MBA in Operations Management and an MS in Organizational Strategy—from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Dave lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife of 25 years, Juleeta, and their five sons—Luke, Ethan, Matthew, Isaac, and Isaiah.
